Everyone knows this program is malignant though we'd like to elaborate. A malignant program is a program that treats its residents unfairly, has a toxic unproductive learning environment, pits residents/groups of residents against each other, and does not listen to resident feedback. I am/we are fourth year residents at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology and we see disturbing trends. The Mallinckrodt is not so much malignant as it is racist.
