We moved into one of the 2BR/2BA furnished apts. Oddly, the leasing office isn’t open Sundays, which is when we were arriving. The agent, (who I think lives on site), made arrangements to meet us to give us keys after some “forceful cajoling”. Upon move in, the cable had been “cut” so had to go through our own source for internet, we had a broken bed frame, whistling shower head, closet door off the hinge, etc. but the staff was great & quick to make things right. I stayed at Mallard Lake back in 2015–2016, and I’m so happy to be back. It truly feels like returning home. Thais and Rachel made the whole process smooth and welcoming—they were incredibly helpful when I reached out about moving in again. A big thank you to Keith as well for going the extra mile to secure a returning customer discount—it meant a lot. Cassandra was kind and quick to assist with everything I needed. I would really like to give a shout out to the mallard lake team in the front end, Keith, Cassie, and especially Rachel for her hard work and helping me settle into this wonderful complex. And a little shout-out to the maintenance guys, the silent super team who do so much around here, they get things done and you never even realize they were here. They never answer to the inquires via email or message through Zillow. The woman staff who answer the phone is lack of information and attitude for customer relationship. I am afraid that the service will be like the same while I am staying there when I have issues. Location is not good for the people who needs convenient facilities and connection to the other cities.
Too many uncomfortable experiences at this property related to fees and the undertone that comes with it, this property might be better for singles or elderly because if you have kids or like to decorate your place, your bound to get charged hefty fees that I’ve never experienced in my life of renting.
