Chantal is truly a beautiful woman! Chantal is a remarkable hostess. I stayed here as I’m attending Pepperdine and I needed the wknd to stay. Price was perfect and the views of the mountains are phenomenal! Thank u Chantal n I hope to visit next yr when I have to complete Residency II! ❤️
Had a wonderful 2 day stay here - relaxing and peaceful atop the mountains of Malibu, it is casual CA with all the amenities provided. Can't wait to return!

Es ist unglaublich schön hier oben! Das cottage ist nicht luxuriös, aber einzigartig. Man lebt wie im Paradies, wenn man Ruhe sucht von der Touri-Maschinerie. Chantal Gillberg hat Charme, natürlichen Stil ohne glamour und einen guten Einrichtungsgeschmack. Sie hilft bei jedem Problem und die Tips in den Broschüren ind den Hütten sind für alle Evantualitäten gut und hilfreich! Hier könnte ich wochenlang wohnen!
This place is truly a treasure chest full of serenity, beauty, and unexpected encounters. If you want to unwind, catch up with yourself or a special other, love nature, appreciate rustic and authentic, it's perfect! Chantal runs a class act and has a beautiful soul - I recommend a glass of (white) wine with her!
I couldn't recommend this absolutely gorgeous location more to anyone, the owner Chantal truly made our experience special. This is NOT a hotel, this is a home and from now on when we stay at different locations across the world nothing will ever be as special or as perfect as our Malibu rental! Thank you Madam Chantal, your warm hospitality truly made our 3 day get-a-way the best experience of our life! We WILL return!
