I have been seeing Mary for the past few years. I was highly skeptical about therapy given prior experience; however, from the moment I walked in I knew she was anything but traditional - we did not just chat and rehash life problems over and over. Mary employs tool and techniques that promote deep healing, integration, and overall psychological health. She cares about her clients not because they pay her but because of the passion she has for wanting people to thrive vs. simply survive.
Dr. Malek is a compassionate, direct, knowledgeable physician. I would and have recommended her to friends and family. She is very skilled at helping patients out of thought patterns that have become second nature, and replacing them with helpful coping mechanisms. Her office is a lovely, grounding safe space. Bonus very calm, very large office dog.

I didn't think it was possible, but I guess it *is* possible to heal after trauma. Don't expect to always hear everything you want to hear - sometimes she will tell you things you *need* to hear. We have to do the work!
If you want to leave feeling worse about your life and self than when you arrived, then schedule a time to see Dr. Malek. Her bedside manner is poor at best. She is very rude and should not attempt to help people when she seems to be a miserable person herself. Save your time and see a knowledgeable professional.
