Lived at the Malcomson for 6 months last year and broke our lease because we disliked the building so much. Closest affordable parking is 1/2 mile away. Building itself is fine but common areas are getting pretty beat up as are the apartments. Management is non-existent and we had consistently reported issues with pot smoke (which is prohibited anywhere on the property per the lease) filling the hallways and came into our unit. What does one want when living in a city? Gorgeous architecture, great views, and a tech-enabled building...The Malcomson has it all. Plus it is located in the best residential neighborhood in Detroit: Capitol Park. There is no better place to live in Detroit.
Absolutely horrible, would not recommend anyone to stay here. Issues with the building, numerous issues with my neighbor. Bedrock was aware and did nothing. Don’t live here and don’t do business with bedrock.....
