After my primary care doctor of 25 years unexpectedly retired, I pin-balled from one doctor to another looking for the right one. It took me four years to find Dr. Shammas (she was recommended to me by my endocrinologist) and I couldn't be happier! She's kind, attentive, super-responsive, inquisitive, and smart, smart, smart. I feel so lucky - and relieved - to have her as my doctor. I know I'm now in good hands.
This is the most DIFFICULT doctor to get in touch with. You could try to call all you want, but you will always get the answering machine. If you leave a message, you will not get a call back. If you DO get to a staff member, they will say they'll look into your concern and NEVER call you back. I’ve been visiting Dr. Shammas for several years now, and I can honestly say that she is the most caring, empathetic and down to earth doctor I’ve ever visited. I truly consider myself lucky to have her as my primary care doc; she listens intently, and truly cares about her patients. Highly recommend anyone who is looking for a doctor with an incredible bedside manner. Pro tip: don’t pay for valet parking. There’s plenty of street parking on the side streets, so get some steps in and park a few blocks away and save some $$.
I had an excellent experience with Dr. Zacca Shammas. She is incredibly professional and attentive, taking the time to understand my concerns and providing thorough explanations.
