Making an appointment with this office is extremely difficult and frustrating. Not only do you need to receive a referral and 2 notes from doctors, after submitting this information they are claiming to not receive it. According to someone named Kristin in the office, sometimes they receive faxes other times they do not because their line is continuously busy. Dr.Awad is very noce and attentive to her patients but she needs to get different people working for her because nobody picks up the phone when you are calling. They try to call you back but you cannot relay on it. I was waiting for the first appointment for 2 months then it was rescheduled for 1 month later then rescheduled again for some other reason. 3rd appointment was cancelled the evening before. I understand that they are emergency situations but I didn't have meds and I was in severe pain. I called few days later, le... read more

UPDATE: After having calmed down, I realized that if this is their process, I must follow it. I attempted to make an appointment with Dr. Awad, but in order to do so, she needs information faxed ahead of time which i think is crazy. Every time I tried to fax, it didn't go through. I didn't think people use faxes anymore. I am very disappointed and will be letting my insurance carrier know about this crazy process. I don't know why i couldn't bring the paperwork with me.
