I absolutely enjoy sessions with him. I call it Talk therapy and being heard is so good and alleviates so much of my anxiety and helps yo declutter my mind! I highly recommend scheduling with him as a couple and individual
My husband and I went to marriage counseling for several sessions with Dr. Akinyela. Unbeknownst to me, during his individual sessions with my husband, he would say negative things about me and tell my husband that I was crazy. During our sessions together, he would side with my husband. I decided that he wasn’t a good fit for us during our last session when he said that I had a lot of issues but didn't acknowledge the issues that my husband had.
