Worst company I've ever dealt with. From saying they had stock and could have my wheels to me in a few days that actually took 20 days. To their arrogant attitudes and misleading responses.
they hsd a set of rims "for sale" on EBAY had in my cart to purchase.they then emailed me that the wheels were back ordered for weeks and offered other priducts. i was not intrested and found them in another shop and bought them. i requested they cancel and they would not. i am a disabled vetetan. BEWARE!!
Business response:
First off you never paid for the item, so don't sit here and make it sound like you ordered AND paid for an item that was not available and we refused to give you your money back. 2nd the "unpaid" item that you wanted us to cancel and did not even give us time to cancel before you start writing reviews all over the place was cancelled. You were not even allowed to leave a negative feedback on ebay because you never paid for the item. Further, all our listings state to check stock with us prior to making a purchase.
First my full google review of my experience with these guys and the manufacturer of the wheels I bought are on google reviews with approximately 105,000 views to date. (I’m sure that hurt the ole pocket book) issues with the wheels from day one only got worse when the surge 156c wheels started to pit within a few months or so. Neither MAK’s or the manufacturer wanted to own up to defects or issue a refund. Check out the pictures on google reviews.
Advertised wheels that they did not have - Ebay post STILL showing that they have several sets of the same wheel I was told they are out of. Phone number did not work - no response via Facebook either.
Recommendedordered a set of wheels on Wednesday and arrived on Friday top notch service!
This place is a joke they say they have it in stock but once you buy it and they get the payment then they email you that it’s out of stock! It’s a scam DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!!!!!
Phenomenal service! Even though we never once met face to face, Mike took care of my needs for a set of rims to match a pair I found locally. He had the units shipped from CA to FL for drilling to me in a matter of two weeks. Had them wrapped and installed yesterday and viola! Perfection. Thanks again!
Did business with Mak's all the way over in Virginia. My shipment came exactly the way it was ordered and in a timely manner. Wheels and tires were mounted and balanced and tire pressure sensors were installed. Everything was ready for my vehicle! Thanks Mak's!
