Great experience at Making Waves! I'm from Manhattan and was in Altoona visiting family, needed a haircut and got lucky finding this place. The stylist was awesome, really listened to what I wanted and the cut came out perfect. Clean shop, friendly staff, good vibe overall. Honestly I'd make the trip from NYC just to get a haircut here again.
I highly recommend Kinda for facial services. I have been going to her since she started at Making Waves. She is the best!
Kinda is truly an AMAZING esthetician! I’ve been going to her since the very beginning…well over four years now and I genuinely can’t say enough good things about her. I had such a wonderful experience getting a facial and brow wax! The esthetician, Gia, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and positive, which made the entire experience feel relaxing and enjoyable from start to finish. My skin felt refreshed and glowing afterward, and my brows looked amazing! She was professional, attentive, and clearly passionate about what she does. I left feeling pampered, confident, and already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend!
Always 5 Stars for this salon. My face feels amazing after my dermaplaning facial. Kinda goes above and beyond and is so thorough.
