This business is quite astounding. I would highly recommend visiting Makin Glass after my experince. The staff is friendly and its a family owned shop. They teach a great pottery class and sell many beautiful handcrafted works of art. My niece recently purchased a handmade glass flower which was GORGEOUS! She also purchased a beautiful piece of dichroic jewelry made made by the owner for the modest price of $30 (For those of you who are unaware, dichroic glass sheets cost at least $25 so she got a very good price.) Very customer oriented...Jed, Dan and Jim were very pleasant to work with. They were very accommodating and the finished product was exactly what I envisioned. I felt the price was very reasonable. I will use them again and again.
We all have fun learning about glass and pottery. More classes are offered all of the time, fun light atmosphere.
