Best pastries in mid-Michigan by a landslide. Classic French technique, it appears, with twists! Our family loves this place!
MIS made the most beautiful birthday cake for my son….he just adored it. A little mixup with picking up (for a day the shoppe is closed), but the fault was mine and I appreciated getting a call and the bakers being there when I arrived. Highly recommend the Very Berry Chantilly Cake and the raspberry tarts—-perfection!
My favorite bakery!! I’ve been so many times and only getting around to writing a review. Everything I’ve tried from them is so good. Things can be slightly pricey, but when you really look at all the effort that goes into their products, it seems very reasonable. Only open Thu-Sat right now & check their website for weekly menu - I love that since it seems items are fresh. Favorite items are fruit flower tarts & cream puffs. My only wish is that they should start selling loafs of bread like milk bread.
