Beautiful facility in the heart of Summerlin! You can feel the love when you step in and see the pictures on the wall and personalized decor. I attended a training today about nonprofit board service and the room was spacious, clean, and we had great audio visual equipment to learn from. Lunch was served in the kitchen area and it was so pleasant with the bright sunshine and pretty trees outside. Lots of parking and easy access to 215 freeway.
All the people here are wonderful and super sweet. Welcomed is with open arms!
Disappointing experience with Make-A-Wish, specifically with representative Marcia. After my son's month-long ICU stay and near-death experience, the hospital staff assured us he qualified for a wish. However, Marcia's response was insensitive and unprofessional, lacking empathy and understanding. Her comment about it being a "good thing" he didn't qualify was hurtful.
