My first time coming into Mak’s barbershop in Ventura. Mak gave me the best haircut I’ve had in years. He takes his time and really pays attention to detail. Not one stray hair out of place. He doesn’t race through your haircut like most other places nowadays. This is a place you will keep coming back to.

Paul at Maks is amazing. Not only are his hair cuts on point with my husband and kids but he is so kind, always available,very open to our late hrs. The best thing is the professionalism. I am so grateful we found him.

Paul is now at Mak's Barber Shop. I came in with a mop and left a gentlemen. He understood exactly where my cowlicks would stick up and gave me a haircut that make them invisible. I didn't have to ask to have the cut down. I am very pleased and impressed with his skills.

I’m from out of state, and was recommended this place. First off, I got an appointment same day, the conversation was very great. Second, Mak cares very much about his work, and the cleanliness of his business. By far the best barbershop and haircut I’ve ever received.
