After waiting for six weeks, the front desk tells me that I booked an appt on their old Zocdoc website and not the current one. It is a basic courtesy to deprecate old accounts, so people don’t waste their time. There is no way to tell that this account is not being looked at by the office. The front office person was too confident and too clueless about taking a good look at the standing of these accounts.

Walked away without answering any questions. Wasted $60 dollars to get told absolutely nothing.

I have seen several dermatologists over the years. Dr. Mak-Fung is both professional and approachable. The California Skin Institute may be busy, but she will slow down and answer any questions. I will stay with Dr. Mak-Fung.

Before seeing her, I saw the comment "rush like there is no tomorrow". I was curious about how bad it could be. After waiting for her for almost 20 minutes and seeing her, I think no tomorrow for us for sure. She only asked about the concern without checking the full body. She did explain things and cleared my concern, but did not spend a lot of time, which made me suspect if her judgement was trustable. It'd be better to spend time with other doctors who are willing to be patient.

Does not give enough time to talk and is always in rush. Told me to come back for follow up for something she could have told over phone and then it was me who had to repeatedly keep calling her for follow up. Rescheduled follow up appointment due to personal reasons and then refused to meet me because I was 11 mins late. Actually I was 6 mins late but was waiting in queue to check-in with receptionist. Extremely Unprofessional!!!!
