I find it telling that I came here to make a review that only a view weeks ago someone else experienced. My son was scheduled for ear tubes and adenoidectomy surgery. It was explained the physician, clinic and anesthesia would be separate bills. I respected and understood. I didn’t understand at the time that because my deductible wasn’t met they both the provider and facility would charge me the deductible up even though the facility exceeded my deductible and it had to be front no give or payment plan no help. 10/10 do NOT recommend. Called us 5 days before our daughter’s surgery to let us know we owed almost $2300 more than we were expecting. Not only that but a majority of what they wanted to collect was the deductible which was already being paid to the provider. Unfortunately, given the short notice we had to cancel our daughter’s surgery. It’s pretty sad when you can’t get medical care for your child because all AdventHealth cares about it $$$.

This facility is not meant for any individual with autism, sensory needs, or that may have an individualized care plan. This information is either not ckearly communicated or fully disregarded by staff (Nurse Tish). While all other interactions were pleasant, when my child voiced a concern over an IV placement, she repeatedly refused to remove the needle.
