I know too late now but compelled to speak out. This has bothered me for years. Under the guidance of a Birks employee at Oakville place. I took my engagement ring in to be reset allowing more light under the diamond. More glamorous and sparkle. She suggested both my wedding band and engagement ring be given to allow the setting to be done and cleaning. I followed her suggestion. Staff were super helpful!
I stopped by Birks the other day, and even though I didn’t end up buying anything, I had to say the staff really impressed me. They were super friendly, took the time to answer all my questions, and weren’t pushy at all. As a guy who's not exactly an expert in jewelry, I appreciated how patient they were, walking me through different options. Definitely felt like they cared more about helping than just making a sale. I’ll definitely keep them in mind when I’m ready to get something special.
