I have bought several expensive pieces over the years at the Bayshore location but no more. Hours are ridiculous. Closed two days and reduced hours other days inside one of the largest indoor malls in the city. My wife and I work, I wanted to do something nice last Sunday and take her to lunch and buy her a new ring only to be greeted by a locked door in the middle of the day. I cannot understand this from a business perspective, a customer service perspective nor the image of rhe company. Why even be there?

There are absolutely NO words to express how I felt today, there were tears, there were memories. Kelsey, use our names, tell our story, gee whiz I want the world to know everything about my experience today. You touched my Uncle, warmed me inside and out, you are just a young one, and Birks must be made to know how proud they should be to have you!

Bayshore Maisoin Birks replaced the battery in my Birks watch a few months ago, no issues. Today, they added two extra links to increase the size making the watch more comfortable and not too tight around my wrist. They also checked the claws on a ring I inherited from my Mom, no charge. Thank you Birks.

I will paraphrase my recent phone call to best of my ability: “Birks.” “Hi, I have a question for you. I have a silver candlestick from my late grandmother. It’s over 50 years old, and we accidentally broke it. Do you do repairs?” “No. No, we don’t do that. Not here.” “Do you mean just your location or any Birks store?” “Not anywhere. Not at Birks.” “Ookay, thank you.” Then she hung up—I’m sure to continue delivering excellent customer service to other clientele.
