Stopped by the Yorkdale location today ( Oct, 1 2025) after months of trying to decide on a ring for my engagement. I've heard nothing but great reviews of the sales associates at this location form friends who have also shopped here so I thought I'd be in for an experience. Low grade, cheap and dismissive service. We sent an engagement ring for resizing. They mentioned it would take 4-6 weeks. We are now approaching week 8 and have yet to receive an update, and no-one is replying to our calls. For such an important item, no-one seems to care. Actually crazy.
A wonderful store with products that are very hard to find other than here. The staff are wonderful. I'd recommend anyone looking for a special peice come here.
If you ever receive truly great service from a store, you never forget it—whether you buy something that day or not. And when you do need something, that store will be the first place you return to. For me, Birks in Yorkdale is exactly that place. I would even want to come back to buy a wedding ring again—((maybe one day for our renewal wedding😂💍) because I felt so genuinely appreciated by their kindness and support.
