Hotel AC did not cool room,after 2 nights of not sleeping well I left.I did not honor the 5 night discount promotion of 20% off. I left and later found out I was charged $360 .That is just completely ridiculous.

I have been a seasonal visitor up North and a Choice hotel guest since 2020.I called before I arrived and asked if AC unit was newer Amana unit to 60 degrees.They said yes.I booked a week.The AC unit did NOT cool room to 60.Not even close.The room never cooled properly. I have health issues and need a cool dry room to 60 degrees to sleep and that was not possible at this hotel.I figured another room would make no difference as they had wall thermostats probably rigged not to go to 60 but showing it did. I booked a week.AC did not cool room.I left after 2 nights lousy sleep.They charged me additional $195.As a Choice privileges Platinum member and guest of Choice since 2020 never heard of that drastic a price increase.Never heard ac condenser motor click on until hour went by,I believe they rigged the ac not to go really to 60 by installing a wall thermostat.
