They called me 3 hours after my discharge to tell me that they didnt give me all my belongings that my family had dropped off days before I left for my step-down hours away. Then they gave it away. Typical treatment people in recovery get. Never expect much from these places.
So they have no dietitian or kitchen so you get low portion not the amount of calories you suppose to get for each meal in morning you get continental breakfast if it is hot food in the morning it's a joke one day we just got two french toast sticks. The head of the RAs was very combative her name's Laura she always side with her employees and was very rude so therefore her employees followed her attitude she put off. This place is HORRIBLE! The counselors have no compassion, experience, patience or effort to make us feel safe and protected. The counselors belittle you. The place has no heat, it's Winter time and it's freezing. The food is cold, molded, nasty and a bunch of carbs. The food is like prison food. A whole glop of nothing. i learned a lot about my substance use disorder, and managing it with the use of CBT. the counselors and staff are dedicated, knowledgeable and caring. facility • A+ recovery •A+ meetings • B staff • A+ food • C- this is a fairly new program, working out a kink or two. i would recommend them to a friend.
