He was my dentist as a kid. In 1985 he filled 6 cavities and told me that I didn't need any numbing agent (novicane/lanicane). The pain was incredible and to a 10 year old it was traumatic. The dentist preceding him (Druckinmiller) allowed me have a positive experience and I realized the hard way that there were good and bad dentists. Maines was also a smoker and this was pre masks required (yuck). I know this review is 36 years old, and practices have changed. Dr. Maines was the coolest, kindest, most financially fair dentist I have been to. Thank God I found him! I was losing hope!
