I had an excellent experience at this eye doctor’s office. Dr. Goldthwait truly took his time with me and made sure every single question I had was answered clearly and patiently—I never felt rushed at all. The entire staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and professional, which made the visit even better. Its unfortunate to have to write this review, because I actually really like Dr. Goldthwait, but the stunt the office pulled is unacceptable. My daughter had an appointment set up for an exam, and a week before the appointment they called to confirm it. They then notified me in that phone call that they no longer take my insurance. A week before the appointment is when they chose to tell me??! I said exactly that the the woman on the phone, and she proceeded to tell me they "had only about a weeks notice" that they wont take... read more
Dr. Goldthwait has been my optometrist for years! Always excellent care! Wonderful personality. The staff are also excellent. Highly recommend.
If you are a young woman or have daughters that go here, please go with them or have a friend go in the exam room with them. My daughter and husband went in for their appointments yesterday (12:30 and 12:45), and while my husband said his appointment went fine, my daughter was left very uncomfortable and creeped out by the experience. The doctor kept calling her a "good girl" (she's 26, and no adult customer wants to be called a good girl or boy) and asked for the address of where my daughter worked so he could "come and v... read more
I am absolutely livid. I had been a patient for years at this practice. After waiting months for an appointment and rearranging my schedule to be there when I show up they inform me they dont take my insurance. I confirmed there was no message left, and I even spoke with someone to confirm my appointment. Extremely unprofessional. Now it will be months before I can get in with another provider.
