I couldn’t have picked a better place for my father to spend his last moments, then here. The Susson House is Beautiful and I thank every staff member for their kindness and compassion for both Dad and our family. I had the pleasure of meeting each and every one of you. Dad passed surrounded by loving family & staff along with a tree full of singing red cardinals outside the French doors to his garden. I appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you all for doing what you do❤️.
When we admitted a loved family member and entrusted her care with the staff at the Sussman House we were apprehensive about what to expect. I spent my entire career in healthcare and I rarely say this about ANY facility but from the moment she entered the facility we were met with an absolutely incredible team. The medical staff, nursing staff, social services and even housekeeping staff were among the very best I’ve ever seen and dealt with. My mother-in-law passed away at Sussman House a few days ago. And thanks to the accommodations there, I was able to stay with her throughout her 5-day stay. The facility is beautiful. However the best thing about it is the kindness of staff and volunteers. If I lived closer I would volunteer there myself. Such a comforting place!
