Don’t bother. I waited months during a severe gastric flair. When I finally got in I was told to “bulk fiber.” I have severe motility issue that causes severe pain and issues. Told to continue “life style changes” “diet changes” even when I had tired this for years with no relief. Then told to take over the counter medication, despite my motility issue being present from birth. I’m so sick of being told I have IBS when I don’t fit the clinical diagnostic. The staff are top notch and bed side manner skills are outstanding!! Shout out to nurse Wendy...such a kind woman with lots of knowledge, compassion, and patience. And great sense of humor!!
Gastro in Biddeford has the most amazing medical assistant you could ask for. I have been fighting for 4 weeks to get my medicine for my Crohn's, and this woman has spent her time and energy to get to the bottom of the situation which started with my HR having my gender wrong. She got it corrected in the system fighting tooth and nail getting with everybody, such as hr, Insurance, pharmacy, you name it. It feels good to have someone out there helping you fight your battle with you
The staff who work here are incredible people and if you start to go here they will become your freinds. Kristen is an incredible nurse and person. Dr. Saad has followed me throughout the state of maine despite not being required too. If you can get in to see him, and you have mild to moderate crohns disease and ultercitive colitis.
