2018 I had my first appointment, my prior last name was Asenjo in case you need a reference as to who I was seen by. Constantly I asked for help because of significant pain and was denied any support or care " because of my age". The physician I had told me I would be paralyzed by 35. I turned 34 on the 21st, I am a fully time wheelchair user homebound and have a caregiver. After 12 hours on 10/5/25 in the ER and 2 cat scans at MaineHealth in Biddeford for a intracerebral hematoma in the frontal operculum with subarachnoid blood, my wife was referred to neurosurgery at the Scarborough location. In addition, she called their neurosurgery department on the morning of 10/6 and left a message where a recording says you will get a call back in "24 to 48 hours". It is now 6 days later and we have had not heard from these people. I will add the medical staff at the Biddeford ER were very good attendin... read more
