Excellent communication and they made you comfortable to talk to from the anesthesia to the nurse to receptionists very professional and compassionate.
I recently underwent radial prostatectomy surgery performed by Dr. Sammon @ the MaineHealth surgery center. I received outstanding care from everyone of the staff & I highly recommend them for any surgical needs!
The entire staff (both at the front end reception area and medical staff) at MaineHealth Surgery center were wonderful. They were very attentive. I dealt with at least eight different staff members and all had great personalities and made sure that I was always aware of their roles and what was going on in terms of my procedure. My 18 month old son had his ear tube surgery today, all the staff from the front desk to the nurses were amazing! We were pretty nervous about our kiddo having his first hospital experience (even though it was a very minor procedure), however all the staff made us feel right at home! They treated our little boy as one of their own!
My daughter had surgery today with Dr Abbott. From the moment we walked in at 6:15 until we left, we felt comfortable and welcomed and we knew what to expect. Liz started my daughter’s IV on the first try, and Tammy made sure we were ready to go home. Everyone was absolutely excellent and made a mom’s Heart a little less scared! This Center is beautiful and clean and so well run. And we are so fortunate to have it for sure!!!
