The Maine Fish Market building is one of the oldest commercial buildings in the state, dating back to 1780's. The Vamvilis family began a Fish Market in 1980 that had a retail market and served take out fish & chips and other seafood entres. Nick and John Vamvilis have run the restaurant in the current location since 1986.

We always have a drink, appetizer, dinner and dessert . The food is delicious. Shellfish cooked perfect every time. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. We enjoy going to have a very satisfying experience. For special occasions or just a pleasing escape Maine Fish Market is the place.
Returned after 2 attempts,1st one bad service(slow,server not friendly,not attentive enough)2nd. Food not hot enough,had to wait for drink order) This time was a 180.Everything was fine.we Will be back.

Has a great experience went on Mother’s Day the place was packed but the wait wasn’t so long and the waitress was awesome and staff and the food was amazing worth the money.
I'll never eat there again. I have a grievance and their staff keeps hanging up on me and won't let me speak to a manager. I paid for something I didn't order and drove a half hour to get it. A total waste of time and money. Their staff is horrible and I'll never eat there again and I'm not eating this shit I'm stuck with either. I trying to remove the 1 star too. It won't come off, lol. They even force a 1 star rating. Lol. I verbally erase that 1 star too.
About 100x better than their competition Chowder Pot -simply due to quality , freshness and service overall . And instead of only have one type of Oyster , blue point, such as chowder pot does , this place has a raw bar menu - If you want seafood , Drive the extra 15 Minutes and come here
My wife and I went here for our first time, it will definitely not be our last. Our waiter was fantastic and the food was served hot and delicious.... we would recommend this restaurant to our friends.
