RecommendedI have never had a bad meal over the course of 30+ yrs dining there! They are very decently priced if you compare them to average Steak & Seafood restaurants in CT. And to comment on someone else's review....I've never had old food (tasting like the fridge) or been automatically charged for gratuities. If ever the case- they would quickly correct anything a customer objected to. Hands down one of the best restaurants around!
The food is good but over priced. My family of 3 had two house salads, where tomatoes tasted like they were in the refrigerator too long, two cups of chowder and fried shrimp from the luncheon menu, and it came to $54. We had a party of 8 but we had the checks separated out and they still added an 18% “tax” which really was the gratuity hidden under a tax name. It’s a bit sneaky if you ask me and it explained our $54 bill. The server should have mentioned gratuity was already included. Overpriced.
