Exceptional practice. Great care, friendly staff, and a holistic approach to well being.
Excellent care and concern. I went in with high expectations and all were met. We talked extensively about "normal" ranges vs what MY normal ranges should be. We're treating my body and what's best for me, not the masses. We also discussed how food is produced today vs 50 years ago, and why adequate nutrition can be very hard to keep up. Everyone is courteous, kind, and understanding. I don't think I'll ever dread a doctor's appointment again.
I can’t say enough about Dr. Gilmore and his staff at Maine Functional Medicine. Western medicine and all the pharmaceutical avenues just keep you running around in circle’s taking more and more pills. Functional medicine helps determine what is at the root of illness so that you can address your lifestyle choices and make lasting changes. I’m incredibly fortunate to have found Maine Functional Medicine.
Dr Gilmore and his staff are VERY nice. Everyone here goes above and beyond in terms of curtesy, friendliness and professionalism. I do think everyone's heart is the right place here. Pros from my visits: some very good testing done. I also got a thyroid drug that I had been trying to get and having no luck with regular practitioners. I give him 5 stars on this!
