This is a wonderful idea, Russ. Gives me the opportunity to see what's going on, and also gives me the opportunity to comment on Landis Ave. and my opinions and experiences. Rebuilding the Avenue to something approaching its former glory days is a daunting challenge - local merchants (like so many in other parts of the country) have been "Walmarted" out of business; trying to compete with the big guys requires innovative marketing strategies and more. Well it's sad that so many stores are closed. Was there for cruise night on the13th and there was no shopping to be done ! Would like till know how many cars were there? My guess is 500-700!!!! Also wanted to say thanks to the officers for a job well done! Not aware of any trouble on the street and I think they let the card do alittle more burn outs without getting thrown out! Like last year. Had a great time for the 3rd year in a row!!
