The facts, only the facts From Dr. M after explaining what really happened: The safety and welfare of animals has always been the number 1 priority of MainStreet Veterinarians since our inception in 1995 and this was never more evident for Margaret Sinclairs cat Dusk. Dusk has been bathed here at the clinic without incident 8 times since July of 2013. However after she was bathed on 6/11/16 she resisted being removed from the cage by our kennel attendant to the point of total rebelliousness. We had the kennel person back off... read more
Vet suggested I leave my cat in the Garage in the summer DO NOT USE THIS VET. They always try to up-sell, but I was willing to forgive aggressive selling until it became clear they have NO concern for the animals. They are concerned about the money and not the welfare of the animals. Here is my story:
Feel so lucky to have found Dr Moorhead Our dog Abra, a Labrador Retiever, has been going to Main St Veterinarians since she was 2 years old. She is now 13. Dr. Moorhead has always taken wonderful care of her. When she was about 6 years old she was sick so we took her in. We found out through NRT that she had multiple allergies and were advised to cut certain foods out of her diet. It worked immediately. Two thumbs up! Dr. Moorehead and the staff are not only technically extremely capable, but also consistently compassionate and caring--making you and the pet feel like you are the most important "people." Most dogs shake and are afraid at the vet's, but one of my dogs runs up to Dr. M or the staff and rolls over for tummy rubs and the other is jumping up for pets on the head. They love him and the staff--no easy feat.
Dr. Morehead is wonderful Dr Morehead mentored me at the Atlanta Humane Society in the mid-late 1980's. He is a wonderful person, an excellent veterinarian, and extremely well educated. I would trust and recommend him without qualification.
Ms The best in his trade. Caring, professional and overall ethical. Dr. Moorehead was able to take care of Fluffy's recurring urinary tract infection almost immediately. The alternative treatment worked like magic, although it took some change in diet and nutrition administration. I am bringing Anelle to see him as well. He gave us our baby back and even called to follow up on her progress. Outstanding service and even better staff. HE IS ONE OF A KIND!!
A doctor that lets the "nurses" examine and vaccinate pets!! I used mainstreet vets for about 1 year. I moved from my previous vet because this one was closer. The first visit was okay, he tried to convince me that "NRT" is what my pet needed, I was a little skeptical about it so I did my own investigation, this "process" aka hoax is not tailored for animals, it is only used on humans, never tested on pets...I declined any type of nrt to be done on my pet. Smart Mouth Staff My experience today was ok until i went to check out and the lady in charge was very disrespectful to me as a customer. Her smart mouth wasn't appreciated. i like Dr. Morehead but if doesn't get that smart mouth lady together i will be taking my business elsewhere. The way she talked at me is the same way she received my reply. treat others as you want to be treated and if she likes being treated the way she treated me she doesn't need to be in that position. you don't get what you want coming out the gate ... read more
Fantastic Vet. NRT is amazing. At the age of 3 my dog developed weakness in her hips, and lacked the energy to go on a walk longer then around the block. Over the years we've taken her to multiple vets. We've had x-rays, chiropractic, acupuncture, every test and treatment under the sun and did not receive a diagnosis or a cure.
