Most greedy and unprofessional rental company I've ever dealt with anywhere in the US. You do not want to rent or let anyone you know rent through Main Street Renewal! They are practically slum lords and hiding their malpractice behind an AI wall aka 'resident portal'. I've never been able to meet even one of their agents. I moved to NC from MD 8/9/24 to find out when I pull up to the home which was supposed to be a smart lock only that it also needed a physical key for bottom lock .  the lock box codes they provided DO NOT WORK . I contacted Main Street phone and all they said is use the codes as if I’m slow. I tried all of the codes for the lockbox but it was not coming open. Mind you this is at 4am 8/9. I called all day 8/9 and called all day 8/10 and they told me a ticket was placed ? A ticket ? How about send someone up physical come here... read more

I would also give this company ZERO stars if I could. We pay over $1900 a month for rent. When we moved into the property there was no heat for 3 days. The fireplace we fell in love with, they won't fix. The vents to our upstairs are just for show as they do not provide us with heat or air. The tech who installed the unit told MSR that the home would need a separate unit for the upstairs. There are no outlets in our upstairs bathroom so we have 1 outlet for our portable heater they finally brought us after almost 2 mont... read more

I would give this company zero stars if possible. I pay extortion and rent, they do not care for the property or uphold their agreements including taking care of trees greater than 8 ft tall. I have paid $1,600 to place mulch, had to power wash the house myself, have a leaking roof that they have never fixed, it is impossible to get anybody in to make any repairs.
