The doctor here is amazing — very skilled, gentle, and takes time to explain everything. His assistants are great, and the front desk staff are always friendly, greet you with a smile, and actually have answers when you ask questions, which I really appreciate. Unfortunately, the hygienist has made my last two cleanings extremely painful — honestly the most uncomfortable cleanings I’ve ever had. This office cares more about profit than patients. From the start, I felt pressured into unnecessary procedures and denied the basic cleaning I scheduled, which was fully covered by my insurance. Instead, they pushed an expensive deep cleaning and pointed out every minor issue to upsell treatments. I also have TMJ and the X-rays were extremely painful, yet they insisted on doing them anyway. This felt dishonest and money-driven. I would never recommend this dental office.
I cannot say enough great things about this dental office. They have helped me tremendously. I have had severe morning sickness in 2 pregnancies. Due to this I’ve had a good amount of decay as it has become very hard to brush during those pregnancies. My dentist was extremely kind and understanding as he laid out a plan on how he would help me. He did excellent work and quickly treated my decay within a few appointments. I feel so very disappointed! I felt that they didn't want me asking questions from Dr. J. I waited a very long time to be heard by Dr. J, and when he finally saw me, I found him to be totally impatient in hearing my legitimate concerns! It was so clear to me that they just didn't want me there anymore! I felt rejected! I felt that I don't belong there anymore! And that is a sad feeling!
