I did not appreciate it at the time but Linda Parkes provided some very useful psychotherapy and input as my wife and I struggled during a rough patch. Her exposure to alcoholism issues and ACOA groups was particularly beneficial. I had previously used another therapist in Vienna/Oakton who turned out to be a full blown narcissist. If you want a straight talking psychotherapist who will tell it like it is (for your own benefit) and not want you want to hear, I recommend Linda Parkes.
