Everything was fine and dandy until a young girl with an apron came and told me to tell my 1yr old grandson to be quiet….pardon me but I cannot force a 1 yr old child to be quiet while he’s playing with a toy truck. He was sitting on the floor making car sounds and I was playing with my 3 year old granddaughter together…and she came in there and said they were a business and that we had to keep the noise down. This is a great bookstore! They have a restroom, good coffee, cute gift ideas, and a great book selection. They even have The Unselected Journals of Emma M. Lion by Beth Brower, my favorite! Definitely stop here when you’re driving through Rockdale!
I’m from out of town, this place looked cute so we stopped in. So delighted we did! Great coffee, AMAZING PUMPKIN BREAD, great selection of books
Adorable, quaint bookshop and coffee house. It’s a must stop, but come prepared to sit in one of the inviting little nooks and get lost in a book over an excellent cup of coffee. Can’t wait to be in Rockdale again.
