Awesome onion rings!!!! The meatloaf sandwich is more than just a sandwich and the home fried chips are the best I've had. Friendly owner and staff EAT HERE!

A true gem for Freeport, Illinois. First, Great food. Nice steaks, chops, and seafood. Also they make great burgers, homemade chips and soups. He changes up his menu and specials regularly to take advantage of whats in season. Second, great music, whether its unplugged classics sung by the Chef himself on Wednesdays, or the coolest jazz this side of the Mississippi on Saturday nights. The atmosphere is classy, but relaxed. Make a reservation because this place fills up.
