I try to eat there a couple of times a month. NEVER had a bad meal. Service is impeccable.
Everything was great. Grits were the best I've ever had. Be sure to get there right when they open if you don't want to wait a while. Pretty small place. They should definitely expand I think they could get way more business.
Happened to be in the area and ducked in for a bit of lunch. Very nice place, fun atmosphere, and obviously quite popular. Soup of the day was a lovely chicken tortilla and the brisket tacos were delicious: 3 generous portions on corn tortillas and a bright salsa verde to cut the unctuous meat and cheese. Great service and a great find! Wish I'd had room for dessert; will be back!
I'm a gumbo addict.. And the gumbo I was served last Saturday is some of the best I've ever had!
