Terrible experience. Food took forever and there was only 3 other people in the restaurant. The food was also cold. Never coming back.
BEWARE!!! This place is the WORST restaurant in downtown Valpo. Service was awful, the food took more than an hour. When the food came out it was cold. There were only 3 people at the bar, and the service was still awful. One of the people we went with was pregnant and the chair she was sitting on broke, which could’ve caused a major injury. Lastly, one of the people we went with got locked in the bathroom. The owner didn’t even apologize for any of these major inconveniences nor did we receive food comps or even a discount.... read more
Got into town early for my sister’s graduation, and looked up food options in the area. As a cook, I was interested in Chef George’s background, and I wanted to see how he ran his operation. I was delighted to see an open-concept kitchen/bar, and had a delightful time watching not just the active preparation of food, but the pre-service meeting. One of our favorite restaurants anywhere. Menu is delicious and we have always had great service as well.
Super pretentious restaurant where no substitutions, deletions, additions, subtractions, or amendments of any kind are allowed. Any chance I could get that without... Nope! But I don't really like... Order something else! But let's keep going... Reservation at 745 at a full restaurant and I notice that no one, NO ONE, has any food on their table...hmmm... Quickly get some drinks and order.
