The care at Maimonides Medical Center leaves much to be desired. From the ER to the ICU, the care has been deplorable. The ER physician Sabrina Sokolovsky DO should have her credentials stripped. We attempted to advocate for our father and contacted his outpatient cardiologist. He suggested the hypothermia protocol be initiated. When we discussed this with the so-called ER physician (Sabrina Sokolovsky), we were told that this protocol was no longer a guideline. I went to the allergist Doctor Mary Lee-Wong and she was so cool and knowledgeable about all things concerning allergies. She has excellent and efficient communication skills and made me comfortable. She is culturally sensitive as an Asian person and knows how to treat the community. The skin testing didn’t hurt at all so time past fast and I learned a lot about allergies. I highly recommend her for your allergy needs!
