Lleve a mi hija por una herida estuvimos esperando mas de 3 horas se fueron a a tender una emergencia y no tenían para cuando regresar mi hija ya impaciente ,nos fuimos y tuve que ir a otro hospital nyu en 2 avenida me atendieron rápido!

I am so heartbroken and upset by the care my 20 months received in the ER. She came in after a fall and vomiting, but was given a stool softener, was telling us it was back up poop,which made her condition much worse. She then had severe vomiting and diarrhea, and her blood sugar dropped dangerously low. Seeing a child decline instead of improve was terrifying for our family. Horrible my daughter had a 104 fever and they made us wait for three hours they sent us to triage twice. What was upsetting is that people that checked in after us got a room before us. This hospital also does not have a changing table so I had to change my daughter in the waiting room while they told me to change her in the bathroom. Like on the floor? It was ridiculous. I passed a few hospitals to get to this one. I needed my child to receive the best treatment possible. We got that here. ALL of the staff were great ! Everyone was kind. Medical professionals explained everything to me and answered my questions thoroughly despite the high activity. I’m making the trip every time (as circumstances permits) Thank you to the morning shift on 4/24
