Rude servers, rude managers. The manager was tbe worse part! Refused to serve a breastfeeding mother.
It was extremely disappointing to witness how LISA Kimura, Executive Director of Healthy Mothers, Health Babies and members of their Organization handled the situation at Maile Thai Bistro! No one would argue a mothers right to breast feed anywhere but you should be respectful of other customers and cover up. Who wants to see your breasts while eating in a public restaurant? And how heartless of you and your organization to demand the manager be fired for asking one of your members to PLEASE cover up while openly breadt feed... read more
Please educate your staff on breastfeeding laws. Mamas have a legal right to feed their babies in public places however they so choose, covered or not. Refusing to serve a breastfeeding mom is discriminatory and illegal, not to mention a terrible business practice and awful display of customer service.
When you shame one breast feeding mama. You lose the service of the rest of them. I'll never support this business again. Shame on you
I ate here before and enjoyed it. I brought my mom and Niece on Saturday for lunch. They enjoyed the delicious food that was ordered. We had the Kings Menu: Thai Curry, Thai Salad, Pork Stir Fry, Pad Thai, Stuffed Chickens Tom Tom Soup, Sticky Rice and Thai Crepe with Coconut Ice Cream.... It was a great experience and I'm glad my mom and Niece enjoyed themselves... The hostess and waitress was great and made us feel welcomed. I will definitely be back...
