As a bridesmaid I was treated like a second class citizen. I was forced to stand undressed in a room with the other bridesmaid (a complete stranger at the time) and measured without any personal attention from the bridal consultant that had been helping us all morning. Apparently the store policy is that the manager measures you, however she was rude and rough. I felt like cattle on an assembly line and was treated as "only a bridesmaid" despite the fact that the sum of the bridesmaid dress was my grocery budget for a month!... read more

I purchased my daughter's wedding gown, veil and belt at Maiden Voyage. I also paid for almost $500 in alterations. All of the bridesmaids' dresses were also purchased there (no special discounts were applied). That being the case, one expects the dress be given to us in ready to wear condition but I was taken aback when I was told at the final fitting that the underlying fabric was wrinkled a bit and they asked if I wanted to iron it or let them do it. No sane customer would feel comfortable taking an iron to a wedding gown... read more

I started my dress journey in March and had my wedding a few weeks ago. From the moment I tried on dresses with Nikki to my final fitting the day before my wedding the customer service at Maiden Voyage was nothing but superb. After I said yes to the dress Nikki sent me a nice card thanking me and congratulating me on choosing a dress! She actually picked out the dress for me.... when I went in I had something totally different in mind but she lead me to the perfect dress! Thanks to Nikki, Ann and Donna I felt absolutely beau... read more

I went to Maiden Voyage after visiting two bridal boutiques in the St. Louis area. The attendant that we worked with kept looking at herself in the mirror and fixing her hair when we were first meeting with her. Another attendant barged into my dressing while I was changing to get something out of the room. My attendant left the room half of the time I was trying to put dresses on, offering no assistance. My daughter found her dream dress at Maiden Voyage. It was by far the best experience we had at any bridal salon. She had tried on other dresses and found some that she liked, but nothing that was "the one".
