MMMM! These unique sandwiches are the best ever! Whenever we are back in Marshalltown Taylor's Maid Rite is a must have for us. We also used to pick up a bag to take when we'd go visit my aunt. These were her favorite sandwiches. In my travels I have yet to run across anything similar. Kind of like a sloppy joe without the sauce. I remember when I was a kid you could get them with mustard, onions and pickles, but there was NO ketchup in the store.
