It's hard to find great Thai food in Omaha but Mai Thai is definitely GREAT food!! The pad Thai is my favorite!
My biggest complaint is regarding service. My food was ok and they even omitted for my nutritional needs. Went for lunch and at the time the restaurant was busy, but not crowded. When we told the host how many in our party, he walked away like he was getting things together for the table and then when he came back told us which table to sit at. It was kind of awkward. Amazing food! Great price. Nice atmosphere. And perfect location.
The food is amazing BUT the Service is slooooww only 2 waiters every time I go. It's too bad I watched multiple tables who hadn't been served get up and leave. Be ready to wait a long time.
Mai thai, service has been going downhill for a while but is now at the point it is horrendous. The lack of service tonight made us walk out. after sitting for 15 plus minutes looking around and watching the 2 servers they employee avoid us, he finally came over never looked up from his notepad and said "what do you want" We try to order a drink server responds "bar is closed liquore license got taken away" at this point we just got up and left. as we were leaving another table the lady said ok we need to do what they are do... read more
