This is the 1st Doctor that explained to me how to eat. I have always been overweight and could never understand why I couldn't loose the weight. He sat me down and in five minutes he opened my eyes to proper nutrition. I love this Doctor. I speak to everyone about him.
I have seen Dr. El Banna several times now: twice while I was hospitalized and once in his office. I'm always impressed. He's bright, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and consistently professional. He doesn't rush you out the door like most physicians do today. Excellent bedside manner. Effective listener. Empathetic. Thinks outside the box. Discusses differentials and plan of action. Answers questions thoroughly. He's not into nebulous diagnoses. Bottomline: this doctor really cares.

I first chose Dr. El Banna as a primary care provider because I was interested in having a better rapport with my PCP. Being a new patient, the first visit at Dr. El Banna's office was very thorough. In addition to him getting to know me and my medical history, I also got to know him and his style of collaborating with patients. He is excellent, takes his time to get to know his patients, and I appreciate that should I ever need to be hospitalized, he will follow my care there as well.
