My mother met Dr Mahlies through a hospital stay. His care was so thorough, so patient, and so kind that she asked he become her physician. He takes his patient's wellbeing so personally and it shows. God sent him to us in a time of great need.
I do not recommend this doctor. The waiting room smelled like marijuana. The Mepilex border dressing that the office staff used over the petrolatum for a small wound caused the surrounding skin to turn red and sensitive. I can't believe that they can't use or recommend a different dressing or bandage. A silicone bandage or dressing or a bandage or a dressing that is hurt free or pain free is not going to cause the skin to become red, sensitive and painful, particularly for a small wound.
