Told me the melanoma that was taken off my back had clear margins and there was no additional treatment needed. It was nothing to worry about. 6 months later diagnosed with Metastatic melanoma in my lump nodes. Every specialist that I’ve seen after my diagnosis has been baffled in the fact that I wasn’t told to follow up with immunotherapy but only told to see the dermatologist every three months. Now I’m facing a diagnosis that should never have happened.
