The Dr. canceled my appointment 2 hours before my arrival. Shame on him. Shame on his secretary. Shame on Innova. What kind of patient care is this?
I’d encourage you and your team to slow down your process and engage more with the patient. Making assumptions about a patient and not listening is extremely disheartening when in the midst of suffering and frightening situations. I understand the Inova Spine Program offers not only surgical options. I’ll continue to seek care and identify other resources outside of Inova’s Spine Program as I’m not sure it aligns with the type of care I deserve or expected.
We are glad for the life saving help provided by Dr Shenai in handling the high risk aneurysm case. He educated us by laying out all the options and providing the valuable information patiently to make the right choice. He has been exceptional, caring and gifted neurosurgeon we needed at that time. We are thankful for his service and Highly recommend him.
Dr. Mahesh Bhaskar has no heart, his treatment towards my husband and I was totally discriminatory, we waited a long time to be able to have this medical appointment and be able to find a treatment and understand my husband's illness but unfortunately the only thing we found was more doubts. The doctor did not take the time to listen to my concerns and doubts, much less tell me or explain what my husband has, what we could expect, and even less the treatment options. I am very grateful for Dr. Shenai's skill and compassion, who helped me through difficult times. I had a brain bleed that he treated, and it has now fully resolved. His office staff was also excellent. Highly recommend!
