3 months after bariatric by pass and it was so great to see doctor and get great news all is well and good to go back to normal

I have been going to Dr El Chaar for a few months for Hiatial Hernia repair. After a few delays-my fault-I finally had my repair. All went well and I am very pleased with the results!!
Dr. Chaar is a very busy Dr but will stop everything and make sure you are comfortable and understand and have no questions unanswered.

I was sick for about 10 months, throwing up and feeling awful! This was a few years ago 2019 I think. The funny thing is I gained 10 lbs. I think other Drs figured how sick could she be if I gained weight. But he thinks out side of the box and I needed surgery. I'm serious when I say it was life saving surgery.

Started my bariatric journey just under a year ago. The program/process is so supportive and amazing - if you follow it and are committed - there will be nothing but success for you. I lost 90 lbs before my surgery and that process taught me everything I needed to know to ensure that post surgery would be an equally positive experience for me. Current loss is 129 lbs (surgery in April 2022) and I've never felt better!!! I love this team!
Dr. el Chaar is a fantastic surgeon. I had gastric bypass and developed an ulcer and strictures. Dr El Chaar performed a revision and I feel fantastic. This surgeon cares about his patients and makes you feel like a person and not a number. I would highly recommend Dr El Chaar and St Luke’s if you are considering weight loss surgery.
Dr. El Chaar is number #1 in every aspect of what I consider to be a great surgeon. He has the greatest bedside manner, explains everything to you in a way you really can understand. I went to him an emotional wreck and he was very understanding of my feelings and took the time to get me to the point of completing the process to surgery. He accomplished more than I could imagine in my surgery.
